In some of the stuff I read, I distinctly remember someone saying that “Low Spark of the High-Heeled Boys” was about them, because of how Dave Clark managed the group and stole songwriting credits. from Missouri City, TxI can’t remember where I read this, but I had been reading about The Dave Clark Five for a while one time when I was reading up on forgotten rock groups.
